Home Rule Resolutions

 

Washington Township residents have adopted limited Self-Government, which allows the Township Trustees to pass resolutions similar to city ordinances. These resolutions must follow state law and specific legal limitations.

 

2025

Moratorium on Cannabis: Limited Home Rule Resolution extending the moratorium on the cultivation, processing, and retail sale of "adult use" cannabis within Washington Township for an additional one hundred and eighty days and declaring an emergency.
