Bike Route

Looking for a way to cross Centerville-Washington Township on your bike?

Bike Route 11

Bike Route 11 begins on Paragon Road, north of Alex-Bell, and runs north through Township neighborhoods to Rahn Road. There is a park at each end of the route -- Green Park at the south and Rahn Park at the north -- and it passes Woodbourne Springs Park along the way. Signs guide riders north and south through the neighborhoods, and the route utilizes the sidewalk and crosswalk in front of John Hole Elementary so families do not have to ride directly on Whipp Road. Using surface streets, Bike Route 11 keeps riders off busier corridors, with the 25 MPH speed limit on the neighborhood streets providing a safe environment for families to travel to and from the parks.

Bike Route 12

Bike Route 12 will guide you along an easy and safe east-west path. The route runs from Holes Creek Wetlands Park to Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Township. Using low-stress surface streets, Bike Route 12 keeps riders off busier corridors. Just follow the white and green signs with a bike symbol and the number 12, or start your trip by consulting the Bike Route 12 map.

Members of Bike Centerville, a chapter of the bicycle advocacy organization Bike Miami Valley, determined the route and road signs were installed by Washington Township and the City of Centerville.
