The Washington Township Fire Department is proud to partner with Versiti Community Blood Center (formerly the Dayton Community Blood Center) to host six blood drives each year.

Blood Drives are held in the Training Room at Fire Headquarters located at 8320 McEwen Road.

Facts about Donating Blood

• Someone needs blood every two seconds.

• One pint of blood can save up to three lives.

• There are four easy steps to donate blood: medical history; quick physical; donation; and snacks.

• Healthy adults who are at least 17 years old and at least 110 pounds may donate a pint of blood every 56 days.
