Notice of Intent to Sell Unneeded, Obsolete, or Unfit for Use Township Personal Property by Internet Auction
Be advised that on the fifth day of May 2025, the Board of Trustees of Washington Township adopted a Resolution expressing its intent to sell unneeded, obsolete, or unfit for use Township personal property by internet auction. The Township shall contract with GovDeals, Inc. to act as its representative for the purpose of disposing of said property through the www.GovDeals.com website. All such property shall be offered for sale pursuant to the Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio's "On-line Sales - Terms and Conditions" and shall be sold on an "As-Is, Where-Is" basis. All items will be available to the public on GovDeals for a minimum of 10 days.
This notice will be posted on the Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, webpage and will be accessible by selecting the link entitled "Notice of Intent to Sell" under the Government tab. A complete copy of Resolution R2025-017 (pdf, 2MB) and the Online Sales – Terms and Conditions will be posted along with this notice. A copy of the same will be available for inspection at the office of the Fiscal Officer for Washington Township, 8200 McEwen Road, Dayton, Ohio 45458 during normal business hours.
