Five employees have received Washington Township’s Employee Award of Excellence for outstanding contributions to the Township. Recipients are nominated by their peers and their efforts reflect the type of important activities employees undertake every day.
Deputy Chief Nick Bergman, Fire Department: Nominated for being an outstanding member of the Washington Township Fire Department and possessing a unique technological skillset, combined with creative problem-solving abilities.
Dean Holtzman, Public Works: Nominated for his attention to detail, his perseverance, and devotion to his job. His years of experience, excellent communication, and due diligence in problem solving are outstanding.
Uriah Anderson, Recreation: Nominated for embodying all the qualities of a great leader, lending a team approach to problem solving, and showing incredible dedication to his role as Supervisor of the Joyce Young Center.
Christie Koch, Recreation: Nominated for exemplifying what is means to be a team player. She is a strong leader with an enthusiastic personality and always takes the time to listen, improve in her job by seeking certifications and is never afraid to ask for advice or help.
Deputy Tony Ball, MCSO: Nominated for demonstrating leadership in every aspect of his duties and for continuing to be a great asset to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Washington Township community.
